I have always wondered what in the world a blog was. I had heard people talk about reading them and writing their own, but I never really thought about it that much until recently when a friend told me about this first grade teacher's blog. The teacher's name is Sarah Cooley and her blog is called 'First Grader At Last'. Wow! It blew me away. What a wonderful way to share and find new ideas from other teachers! I have now become addicted to her blog and all the other teaching blogs out there.Who knew there were so many?? It made me want to start my own blog, so here it is! After playing around with it and changing the layout over and over, I finally decided on the look (which I'm still not entirely set on, but was determined to start blogging!)I hope to share ideas that I use in my classroom and find creative ideas to use. :)

Love your blog theme! I am student teaching in first grade right now and loving every minute of it!
ReplyDeleteLeslie Ann, I love your blog! It's so colorful and fun. I just saw this post tonight, and it put a smile on my face! Thanks for the "shout out"! :)
ReplyDeleteLots of fun ideas on your blog. I was a stay at home momma and went to school after ours were in college and high school...and it was a very hard decision as to which degree to go for...early education or dental hygiene. (I have always been very much apart of our three's education, volunteering and we also did a few years of homeschooling...and even when they were older, I volunteered at an elementary school). Love what little ones say and think, and see what they learn and accomplish :o)
ReplyDeleteI love your blog's background, it's look and your posts...great ideas even not only for school but for when I have future grandbabies.
Blessings & Aloha!
I'm glad that our daughter introduced to me and explained what a blog was last spring :o)
