I'm at the point now where I am needing to make things for last minute boards and thank goodness I can now concentrate on center activities, organize paperwork, and prepare for Parent Night. Last summer I wasn't as far as I am now, so I'm feeling good! :) Today, I ran up to my classroom to bring a couple of things back home to work on, so I only have one pic. I created Schema Susie yesterday and she completes my schema board. It's now ready to display graphic organizers and charts! :)
Schema Susie is so cute! :) I'll make you a deal. I'll help you implement more Reader's Workshop stuff if you help me acclimate to Reading Street! I'm switching schools, and I was happy to see that you love it. I haven't gotten a chance to look at it yet, aside from what I've looked up online. :) Your room looks great!

Love the room, very functional and welcoming! Where in the world did you get that arorable green rug?? And how did you make the Schema letters, with the circuit? What is the font? Thanks for sharing your fantastic ideas!
ReplyDeleteMiss D- Thank you! The rug came from Lowes last summer. I love to use my Cricut for letters, but I just used the letters by TREND that you get at a teacher supply story for the schema board. Do you use the Cricut for font a lot? My favs are Lyrical Letters and Alphalicious :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me know! I love to use my circuit for school but I'm still building up my cartridge collection. I mainly use it for designs like flowers or bees. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute - schema suzy! THanks for sharing. I have been reading through your blog today. I don't know how I've never found it. It is so wonderful! I am your newest follower!
